Visited Dr. V Thirumal Selvan (Orthopedic surgeon)
I found him through a word of mouth referral. Was specifically looking for someone who could educate me so I could tackle my disc herniation/disc bulge situation better. He was methodical, easy to talk to and took the time to thoroughly explain how to read an MRI and my X-rays while providing a thorough analysis of it. What I liked best was the fact that he provided me with a protocol for pain management in case of emergencies and also tips on what will be critical in the future on keeping pain at bay as I age. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my visit and I'd definitely recommend him !

My father K Ramesh Babu had Knee Laproscopy surgery in Jan, 2020. We are from Hyderabad and traveled Chennai to undergo this procedure.
As opposed to all our fears, the hospital, hospital staff and "Dr Jaheer Hussain"(special thanks to him) provided utmost care and has been supportive throughout the process. Team was impressive, particularly Dr Prabhu Manikyam guided me before and after surgery. The procedure was exactly the way it was explained to us. The facilities provided at the hospital was very good. Post operative care, physiotherapy, and post operative recovery is very satisfactory.

Through this post I am just sharing my experience with TOSH hospital, Kilpauk. For my nagging right shoulder pain for the past 1 year and (after exhausting all conservative and other treatments) I decided to undergo Arthroscopy surgery by Dr Jaheer Hussain.
He meticulously and patiently went through my reports, MRI etc and explained in detail what exactly my problem is and how he is going to perform the surgery through his video presentation and how the problems are going to be fixed. I underwent surgery 6 weeks back and from day one I was confident that I was under safe hands. After succeesful surgery now I am in stage 3 of physio therapy, sling removed and there is remarkable recovery. There was no problem at all in the shoulder excepting very minor pain which i managed without pain killers . I should express my gratitude to Dr and his assistant
Dr Prabhu and the friendly reception team . I should thank the Almighty for taking me to this hospital.
