Essix and bonded retainers
I had my tooth correction done recently to close my freen teeth gap. I am going to wear retainers. My dentist already fixed bonded retainer(wire) in the lower six front teeth. For upper teeth she gave Essix Retainer. Is it okay to wear bonded retainer in lower and esssix for upper teeth? Will the alignment of the teeth correct wearing different retainers like this?

Yes . Absolutely . Fixed retainers tend to break more often on the upper teeth . So the decision to give you a removable retainer in the upper teeth .
