Is soaking the nuts important? If yes, which nuts should be soaked And for how long? The best time to have them?

Soaking is not necessary . You can eat them as it is . In summers you can soak them just because of their hot nature .

Soaking of almonds is needed for say 6 hours to help you to digest the nut well.Walnuts/cashews n other nuts do not need soaking. But all nuts if eaten whole should be properly chewded to get the maximum benefit from them.

Almonds are one special nuts which need to be soaked overnight before consuming to get max benefit of this wonder nut! Many are unaware that the brown peel of almonds contains tannin, which inhibits nutrient absorption.
