This holy festival of lord krishna ji want you to follow this healthy fast tips to ease your body and fast day.
Useful tips-
1) If you are #fasting for janmashtami or gokulashtami make sure you eat #healthy a day before it will help to keep your digestive system healthy on fast day. Avoid fried or spicy food as it can give you gas or acidity issues on fast day.
2) You should drink lots of water on the day you fast. Make sure you drink enough water the whole day incase If you are not allowed to drink water after sunset. Water helps in boosting up the body's #metabolism and keeps you hydrated throughout the day. Also, water helps to neutralize all the acids and keep your stomach full.
3) If you are allowed to eat fruits & nuts on fast day have more water containing fruits like watermelon, muskmelon. You can also make smoothie of fruits & milk which will give you better energy also will keep you full for example #banana, #almonds & #milk.
4) When you are breaking fast make sure you are not jumping & over filling your plate. Go easy, eat slowly choose less fried foods as eating heavy food can add up weight gain problems & acidity after such huge gap.
POST FASTING TIPS:
1) Start your day with 1 glass warm water and two-three days this helps to repair your body as well gives you energy kick post yesterday dinner.
2) Do proceed with the breakfast do not skip the same even if you have done over eating last night after breaking the fast. Good options are poha or upma or oats make sure magical ingredients here will be adding veggies while cooking.
3) This day do have 1 glass coconut water so incase if fasting must had added some bloating in your it will be released from your body.
4) When it comes to lunch and dinner go with dal khichdi or dal with rice or veg pulav or kadhi rice or curds rice. Choose rice base meals as they will be light on stomach.
5) In night before 20 minutes going to bed have 1 tsp roasted saunf with 1 glass warm water. Eat healthy & enjoy this holy day.
