My Mother has undergone rotator cuff tear surgery in January. It's been 5 months. Almost 2 months post surgery physiotherapy has been started which means 3 months now.
She still not able to raise her hand completely up and external rotation is also just 30°. Recently,She is feeling tightness between her neck and shoulder.
Surgeon who performed surgery keeps saying she needs to fo more active exercises and more repetitions to get her hand up. There is no issue. Is that right?
To know the tightness, physio suggested shoulder xray and in there everything looks normal(no myositis) . My doubt - will Xray be completely helpful to understand if there is mayositis formed?.
Please confirm..
And usually how much it may take for shoulder rotator cuff surgery recovery.
