How long do you have this pain? Whether it is on your left or right side? Is that pain continuous or intermittent? Do you have cholesterol or BP or Diabetes or any cardiac condition ? You should give hot water fomentation. You can use volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do neck strengthening or stretching exercises with proper guidance. Avoid using high pillow. Avoid prolonged neck bending activities and gadgets usage.
Next Steps
If the pain is acute and on the left side you should consult a cardiologist.

Cervical pain does not radiate to chest, it is different, the upper back trapezius shoulders are get affected and in if untreated on time, there are chances that through shoulders the pain will radiate to chest. Take Proper treatment and do not neglect the pain. Visit nearest physiotherapy centre and take electro therapy for 10 days, later with strengthening exercises the pain will get reduced.

What is your shoulder range of motion? If you get pectoralis tightness there is a chance for pain. If your shoulder range of motion is not upto the mark there is a chance for trapezius muscle strain. So only you are taking this type of chest and upper back pain. Please check your vitals. Then suggest a ortho or pt online or offline.

There is a condition called cervical angina. However if on the left you have to rule out cardiac issues. After ruling it out, if associated with breathing could be your thoracic spine being stiff or ribs also being stiff. Get cardiac issues cleared first
