Your neck pain could be because of your neck muscle strain or spasm. I have few questions like whether the pain is on the back of the neck or on the either side of the neck? Do you work on computer? You may use Volini gel or spray to your neck muscles provided you are not allergic. You should give hot water fomentation for 15-20 minutes twice a day. You should do neck stretching and strengthening exercises twice a day.
Next Steps
If the pain persists for more than a week or if it aggrevates you need to consult a Physician or Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment.
Health Tips
Avoid using high pillow. Avoid lying on your stomach. Avoid using gadgets for long time without breaks.
