It seems like u r having this problem from last 1 year. Kindly visit ur nearby physiotherapy clinic for proper assessment of ur condition. Hot pack, neck isometrics and stretching exercises can help.After that if u have no pain and have good muscle strength u can continue playing.
Yes of course you can play badminton only wen you you have the appropriate strength at your cervical region
And to regain that appropriate strength .. Your pain may come back coz of tightness of neck muscles or may be b'coz of mrtps
