Most of the natural high protein foods do not contain high sodium except organ meats like liver, kidney, brain, dry fish, tinned fish, pickled meat, egg yolk, cheese etc. All dals, pulses, sprouts, white meat, fish, milk, curd, paneer, soybean, unsalted nuts are great sources of protein. But cooking with salt or processing methods increases sodium content.
Next Steps
consult a clinical nutritionist, as the sodium restrictions vary with underlying conditions particularly liver cirrhosis, and kidney diseases.
