Hi! Sometimes we do feel powerless over our problems and feel like there's nothing we can do about it. Sleeplessness and hopelessness does follow. But if the mind and body is not rested, it hampers our ability to think and function properly. I'd recommend you to consult a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and if you'd want to take some sleeping pills. Along with that, working on depressive thoughts and emotions is some work you need to do with a psychologist's help.

The WHo guidelines says that in India evryone experiences depression once in their lifetime with higher ratio in women. Also  stress adds up to the difficulties and sometimes we keep struggling with the entire cycle of negativity everyday. I understand its a negative phase but we can work together to make it better

Hello thanks for your approach to us.. I appreciate that you want to cope with the situation and looking forward for guidance.. I am not sure how you came to know that you are in Depression, is that expert diagnosed, or you considered your self. Certain times for some reason people will go through emotional distress and various problems.. Though one or two symptoms could be similar to depression, but unless the expert convey it don't consider. More over this crisis / situation people will feel more disturbed for many reasons. Yes you can cope with different therapies given by the psychologist. It's good that you are aware about the problem in which it could be easy to handle and cope with it. Most of the time distress will always lead to basic problems like, lack of appetite/ focus / interest in basic work / sleep and others.
